Export guide
Export your GGPoker hand history
GGPoker writes nothing to your machine. Hands come only from a requested export, delivered by email.
GGPoker bans trackers. This still works.
How to get the file
4 steps
- 1
Open the request form
In the GGPoker client, go to Settings, then the data section, then Hand History. There is no local folder to look in: this is the only route.
- 2
Choose a date range
Pick the dates you want and request the export. Recent sessions are usually ready within minutes.
- 3
Fetch the archive from your email
GGPoker emails a .zip to your registered address. Unzip it to get .txt files, one per session.
- 4
Drop the files here
The replayer and a new analysis both take the unzipped .txt directly.
What usually goes wrong
- Nothing is stored on your computer. If you never request an export, the hands are gone from your side.
- The export window is widely reported to reach back about 90 days only. Export regularly rather than at the end of a year.
- Opponents already arrive anonymised in GGPoker's own files, so no read on a named player is possible from them.
Once you have the file
Two things are worth doing with it. The first is free: drop it into the statistics reader to get the numbers a tracker would have given you, or into the replayer to walk a hand street by street with the pot, the stack-to-pot ratio and the pot odds of each decision worked out for you. Both run in your browser: nothing is uploaded, and there is no account.
The second is the reason this site exists. A session debrief reads the whole file, picks the hands that decided the session, reviews them street by street and prices what each mistake cost in big blinds. The first one is free and complete.
Common questions
How do I download my GGPoker hand history?
Through the client only: Settings, then the data section, then Hand History. Choose a date range and request it, and GGPoker emails a .zip of .txt files. GGPoker saves no hand-history file to your computer, so there is no folder to look in.
GGPoker bans trackers. Can I still study my hands?
Yes. The ban is on software that runs alongside the game and shows you information while you play. A hand history you export after the session and read afterwards is the room's own file, provided by the room, and studying it is ordinary preparation. Nothing on this site runs during a game or could.
Why can I only get 90 days of hands?
That is the export window GGPoker offers, as reported consistently by players and tool vendors. It is the main practical reason to export at the end of each month rather than when you eventually want to study.
One thing this is not
Everything on this page is about files from a session that is already over. Nothing here is usable during play, and real-time assistance is against the rules of every room listed.
Your session, debriefed
These calculators answer one spot. A debrief reads the whole session: the hands that decided it, reviewed street by street, and your leaks priced in big blinds. The first one is free and complete, not a preview.
No card. No subscription. $3 a session after that, and credits never expire.
