Why these are free and the debrief is not
The split is not a marketing decision, it follows what things cost. Parsing a hand history, working out a pot, evaluating five cards against five cards, running an ICM tree: all of that is arithmetic that runs on your own machine and costs us nothing per use. There is no honest reason to meter it, so we do not.
Writing an analysis of a session is different. It costs real money every time it runs, which is why it is the part you pay for, at three dollars a session, with the first one free and complete rather than a preview.
That is also why there is no subscription here. You pay when you use it, credits never expire, and the months you do not play cost you nothing.
