Export guide
Export your Winamax hand history
Winamax writes hand histories to your own machine, and can also send you an archive of any date range from its servers.
How to get the file
4 steps
- 1
Turn the history on
Open the Winamax lobby, go to Options and make sure hand-history recording is enabled. Winamax only writes files for sessions played after you switch it on, so this step decides whether last night exists at all.
- 2
Find the folder
Look in Documents\Winamax Poker\accounts\ and open the folder named after your screen name, then history. Files are plain .txt, one per table.
- 3
Or pull it from the server instead
In the lobby, open the Tools tab and choose to import a hand-history file. Winamax asks for a start date, an end date and a game type, then builds a compressed archive of .txt files and puts it in your downloads.
- 4
Paste or drop it here
Unzip if you used the server export, then drop the .txt into the replayer or into a new analysis. A single file is one table; several files from one evening are one session.
Where the files live
- Windows: Documents\Winamax Poker\accounts\<your screen name>\history
- The client also reports its own path under Options, which is the one to trust if the folder above is empty
What usually goes wrong
- Recording is off until you turn it on. Nothing you played before that exists as a file.
- One file per table, so a multi-tabling session is several files rather than one.
- Tournament and cash hands are exported separately in the server archive, and the export form asks which you want.
Once you have the file
Two things are worth doing with it. The first is free: drop it into the statistics reader to get the numbers a tracker would have given you, or into the replayer to walk a hand street by street with the pot, the stack-to-pot ratio and the pot odds of each decision worked out for you. Both run in your browser: nothing is uploaded, and there is no account.
The second is the reason this site exists. A session debrief reads the whole file, picks the hands that decided the session, reviews them street by street and prices what each mistake cost in big blinds. The first one is free and complete.
Common questions
Where does Winamax store hand histories on Windows?
Documents\Winamax Poker\accounts\<your screen name>\history, as plain .txt files, one per table. If that folder is empty, recording is switched off in Options, or the client is writing to the path shown in its own settings instead.
Can I get hands from before I enabled the history?
Yes, through the server export. In the lobby, open the Tools tab and request an import for a date range. That archive is built from Winamax's own records rather than from your machine, so it reaches back further than your local folder.
Is analysing my Winamax hands allowed?
Analysing hands after a session is finished is ordinary study and is what hand histories are for. What is forbidden is real-time assistance during play, which Winamax treats as cheating. Nothing on this site works during a hand.
One thing this is not
Everything on this page is about files from a session that is already over. Nothing here is usable during play, and real-time assistance is against the rules of every room listed.
Your session, debriefed
These calculators answer one spot. A debrief reads the whole session: the hands that decided it, reviewed street by street, and your leaks priced in big blinds. The first one is free and complete, not a preview.
No card. No subscription. $3 a session after that, and credits never expire.
